James taught us to pray for one another, especially when any is afflicted. Affliction is often sickness; other times it may be trouble, trials of faith, false accusation, persecution, or anything that might try the child of God. The remedy that James suggested for all these things was prayer.
James taught that one must call for the elders, or ministers, of the church when one is sick. He said they would anoint the sick ones with oil and pray over them, and the prayer of faith would save the sick, and the Lord would raise him up. He said that if the sick person was a sinner, God would forgive his sins, also.
James knew that for one to have his prayers answered he should be clear before God and man. That is why he said to confess our faults one to another, then to pray one for another.
Not all sinners who receive healing have their sins forgiven, but if they were to confess as James said, the Lord would certainly forgive. Prayer by righteous men can avail much, but there must also be a faith on the part of the one being prayed for.
But his point is that whether your need is physical or spiritual, prayer is very powerful. In other words if we have been justified by faith, we stand before God with a righteousness that is not our own. If you think that you can approach God through your righteousness, you do not understand the gospel. The gospel shuts us all up under sin, showing that our own righteousness will never satisfy God’s holy.

Prophet Muhammad (S, A, W) was monogamous for 25 years when married to his first wife, Khadija bint Khuwaylid . After her death in 619 CE, he over time married a number of women. Which are Sawdah, `A’ishah, Umm-Salamah, Hafsah, Zaynab bind-Khuzaymah, Zaynab bint-Jahsh, Umm-Habibah (Ramla), Maymunah, Zaynab bint-`Umais, Juwayriyah, Safiyah, Khawlah bint-Hakim Of his 13 wives, only two bore him children : Khadija and Maria al-Qibtiyya . The objectives of Muhammad’s marriages have been described as:
1. Helping out the widows of his companions.
2. Creating family bonds between him and his companions (Muhammad married the daughters of Abu Bakr and Umar, whereas Uthman and Ali married his daughters. He therefore had family bonds with all the first four Caliphs).
3. Spreading the message by uniting different clans through marriage.
4. Increasing credibility and sources for conveying his private family life. If he only had one wife, then it would have been a tremendous responsibility on her to convey Muhammad’s private acts of worship and family life, and people would try to discredit her to destroy the credibility of these practices.
