JAMB Warns Candidates About Profile Code Reactivation, Says Misinformation Can Cause Issues
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued a warning to candidates who registered for the Direct Entry (DE) or Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) without reactivating their profile codes. In a tweet, JAMB stated that spreading misinformation about the process can have consequences.
JAMB’s message comes in response to a tweet from a user claiming that candidates can seek help from JAMB CBT centers to retrieve profile codes linked to lost phone numbers.
JAMB emphasized that any candidate who registered without reactivating their profile code may face difficulties in the future. The specific nature of these difficulties was not elaborated on by JAMB.
