Deputy Governorship Candidate Friday Osanebi Allocates N20 Million for JAMB Enrollment in Ndokwa Nation

In a remarkable gesture of commitment to education, Rt. Hon. Friday Osanebi, the Deputy Governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the March 2023 gubernatorial elections, has earmarked a substantial sum of twenty million naira for the registration of eligible applicants for the 2024 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The announcement was made today by Idi Presley, the Principal Secretary to Rt. Hon. Friday Osanebi, who highlighted that the funding initiative, which commenced last week, is progressing smoothly and will continue until the last day of the registration period.

Presley conveyed Osanebi’s directive, emphasizing the removal of any bottlenecks or restrictions from the registration process to facilitate a seamless experience for all applicants of Ndokwa origin, including those residing outside of Ndokwa Nation. This generous initiative aims to ensure that every aspiring student with the desire to undertake the UTME exams can do so without encountering any unnecessary hurdles.

In addition to sponsoring the registration fees, Osanebi has further instructed the organization of special tutorials to adequately prepare the students for the upcoming exams. Moreover, he has taken an extra step by pledging that the candidate with the highest score from each of the three Local Government Areas (LGA) in Ndokwa Nation will be automatically enrolled in the esteemed Osanebi Scholarship Programme upon gaining admission to their institution of choice.
