FUOYE UTME CBT Centre Commences JAMB Registration in Ire-Ekiti

In a significant stride towards enhancing accessibility and convenience for prospective candidates, the newly accredited Computer Based Test (CBT) centre for the United Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has commenced operations in Ire-Ekiti. Associate Professor of Economics, Dr. Adeleke Omolade, who serves as the Director of the Centre for Continuing Education at FUOYE, shared this noteworthy development with the press in Ado-Ekiti over the weekend. According to Dr. Adeleke, the Aare Akomolafe CBT Centre marks the second accredited UTME Centre for the university.

Expressing his appreciation, Dr. Adeleke commended the Vice-Chancellor of FUOYE, Prof Abayomi Sunday Fasina, and the generous donor of the centre, Aare Akomolafe Adebayo, for their collaborative efforts in turning the dream of establishing a UTME CBT Centre in the town into a reality.

Prospective candidates for the forthcoming UTME were urged by Dr. Adeleke to take advantage of the newly established centre, eliminating the need to travel to distant towns and cities for their examinations.

He stated, “You no longer need to travel to distant towns and cities for your UTME examination. We encourage you to enrol at the Aare Akomolafe Adebayo CBT Centre which began operations for registering prospective UTME candidates on Friday, January 19, 2024, after setting up its numerous computer systems for the exercise.”
