First, let’s explain what WITHHELD (held) RESULT means;
WAEC Withheld Result
The WASSCE (WAEC) results are being withheld (held) in connection with various reported cases of examination malpractice.
This means that if your results are withheld it means you or your exam center were reported to have been involved in examination malpractice.
The good news, however, is that WAEC will investigate the report, and if the candidates/school are not found culpable, their results will be released.
If they are culpable then their results will be cancelled.
According to WAEC, the withheld result cases are being investigated and reports of the investigations will be presented to the appropriate Committee of the Council for determination in due course. The Committee’s decisions will be communicated to the affected candidates through their various schools.
So once in a while recheck your result.
Though we will update this page when the withheld result comes out, for sure.
WAEC Outstanding Result
Some candidates, when they check their results they see “outstanding”. The outstanding result means the results are pending because of errors made by candidates.
Once the errors are corrected, the results will be released online.
If your result is outstanding, go to your school and complain to them, they should be able to help you out.
